We are delighted to present Gilbert & Sullivan’s jolly journey on the HMS Pinafore at Rathmines Theatre in November 2025. Pinafore is a two act Operetta.
Dates are Friday 21st at 7.30pm, Saturday 22nd at 2pm and 7.30pm, and Sunday 23rd at 2pm.
Lake Macquarie Philharmonic members will accompany, Christopher Bearman OAM will conduct, and Stewart McGowan will direct.

In Pinafore, Gilbert pokes gentle fun at the absurdity of the English Class system, the British Navy, Politics and Patriotism. Sullivan’s music is always delightful, melodious, rhythmic and joyous.
Robyn Greenwell is the designer and John Campbell is chorus master.
